trackMe privacy policy
Updated October 31, 2026. This policy applies to trackMe, developed by Stefan Kuklinsky.
Information collected
trackMe collects location coordinates, the time of each reading, and location accuracy to save your personal location history. Location can be precise or approximate depending on your Apple Watch settings. It can be recorded while the app is in the background when tracking is enabled.
Sign in with Apple supplies an account identifier and the email address you choose to share, which may be an Apple private relay address. The service also registers a device credential to authenticate uploads. Uploaded readings are linked to your account and email. trackMe does not request your Apple Account password.
Use and disclosure
Data is used to authenticate your account, store and retrieve your location history, sync readings, and operate and secure the service at stefkuk.com. The developer can access uploaded account and location records to operate the service. Hosting and network providers process traffic needed to deliver it. Apple handles Sign in with Apple and device location permissions under its own privacy policies.
To prepare readable place names and location summaries, the service sends representative stop coordinates to Geoapify for reverse geocoding and nearby-place lookups. Those requests do not include your account identifier or timestamped location history. Results are cached to reduce repeated requests. Business matches can be uncertain. If you connect an AI service through MCP, it can read location information within the access you approve; you can revoke that connection from your account.
trackMe has no advertising or analytics SDKs. Your location history is not sold, used for advertising, shared with data brokers, or combined with third-party data for advertising tracking.
Storage and retention
Queued readings are stored on your watch in a file protected until the first unlock after restart. Credentials are stored in the device Keychain and do not migrate to another device. Use a watch passcode. Data travels to the service over HTTPS. Local coordinates are removed only after the service acknowledges the upload; the app retains the latest ten reading times and last successful sync time. Uploaded history is retained on the service until deleted; there is currently no automatic retention period.
Your choices
Pause recording in Settings, revoke location permission in Apple settings, or sign out to stop recording. Sign-out removes the local login and pauses recording, but preserves queued readings and does not delete server data. Uninstalling the app does not delete uploaded history. To request deletion of your account, uploaded history, or support correspondence, contact [email protected]. Account ownership must be verified before deletion. You can manage Sign in with Apple authorization in your Apple Account settings.
