Stilltask privacy policy
Updated November 2, 2026. Stilltask is developed by Word App Dev.
How we use Google user data
With your permission, Stilltask reads your Google Tasks lists and tasks, including list names, task titles, IDs, completion status, and due dates. It uses this data only to sync, identify, sort, and display unfinished tasks due today or earlier in the app and Lock Screen widgets. Access is read-only: Stilltask never creates, edits, completes, or deletes Google tasks.
How we protect Google user data
- In transit: HTTPS/TLS encrypts data exchanged directly between your device and Google.
- Credentials: Google access and refresh tokens are stored in the encrypted iOS Keychain, marked device-only so they do not migrate through backups. Google handles sign-in; Stilltask never receives your Google password.
- On device: Saved tasks use iOS Data Protection in a local container shared only by Stilltask and its widget. Tasks and tokens become accessible after the first unlock following a restart and remain accessible while locked for background sync. Widget task details are visible while your iPhone is locked.
Sharing and Limited Use
Google user data is not sent to the developer or shared with other third parties, sold, or used for advertising, analytics, tracking, or AI/ML model training. Stilltask has no developer-operated backend. Google processes sign-in and API connections under its Privacy Policy. Stilltask’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Retention and deletion
Saved tasks remain until replaced by a sync or cleared with Disconnect. Tokens remain until replaced or disconnected. Disconnect deletes locally saved tasks and tokens and attempts to revoke Google authorization. You can also revoke access in your Google Account’s third-party connections. Your tasks in Google are not deleted. Fictional sample tasks are removed with Exit preview.
Support
